Natural Treatment for Kidney and Bladder Stones

natural treatment for kidney and bladder stones

Nephrolithiasis and Urolithiasis are basically the formations of a mineral, stones, in the kidney, urethra, or bladder.
In this post, I will elaborate on natural ways and home remedies for the treatment of kidney and bladder stones and the natural ways to prevent it.

Causes and Symptoms of Kidney and Bladder Stones

The formation of the stones in the kidney or bladder is caused due to over-concentration of the urine.
Therefore, the amount of fluid is not sufficient to flush out the excess substances.

When such a large stone migrates outward, it can create terrible pain in the back or kidneys.
As the stone continues to migrate downwards, the pain also moves with it in the same direction.

Other symptoms are:

  • Blood in the urine.
  • A strong impulse for urination or inability to empty the bladder.
  • Vomiting.
  • High temperature.
  • Chills and fever.

Daily Routine to Prevent Kidney and Bladder Stones

Drinking

Excessive consumption of fluids (8-12 cups a day) will allow the movement of fluids in the system and prevent the crystallization of substances into stones.
It will also help flush the waste out of the body.

Drink water before bed and even in the middle of the night.

Bath

Often do baths of warm water.
It is also recommended to place a heating pad on the kidney area for about 10 minutes.

If you have heart problems do not use this method.

Sport

Try to engage in intense physical activity that suits you like running, dancing, or rappelling to speed up the exit of the stones out of the body.

Natural Home Remedies for The Treatment of Kidney Stones

Organic Apple Cider Vinegar

This vinegar stimulates the production of basic (alkaline) substances in the body and helps urine and blood to become more alkaline.
As a result of this process, the kidney stones disintegrate.
It also helps to prevent more stones from forming.

Ingredients:

  • 1-2 teaspoons organic apple cider vinegar, unprocessed and not raw
  • 170-220 ml of filtered water

Mix both well in a glass and drink once a day, recommended in the morning before coffee.
The acetic acid in apple cider vinegar will help regulate your Ph levels and will prevent the formation of additional stones.

Drinking the water with the apple cider vinegar will also help break down the existing kidney stones and get them out of your body.
Apple cider vinegar is great not only for breaking down kidney stones, but it also has many other health benefits.
