About Shir Gutman
Natural Medicine Healer
and the Founder of Gutman Herbs
A Clinical Herbalist, Aromatherapist, Natural Medicine Pharmacist
and a Reiki Master
I am a fourth generation of healers and natural medicine pharmacists.
At the home where I grew up,
it was believed that natural pharma and healthy nutrition are the key for a good life.
Natural remedies were always our first step for everyday wellbeing.
Since I was a child, I was fascinated with the magical power of the medicinal herbs,
as I’ve watched my grandmother brewing balms and grinding herbs with the mortar and pestle.
Walking the Path of Natural Healing
More than two decades ago I’ve started learning and practicing Reiki,
and then achieved the Master Reiki degree in Rishikesh, India.
Later on I took courses in Natural Medicine, Natural Cosmetics and Aromatherapy,
which only opened my appetite to dive deeper into the fascinating world
of the medicinal herbs.
And so I’ve studied 3 years in Merav Institute for Alternative Pharmacy
and became a Clinical Herbalist.
Sharing the Knowledge
During that time I’ve opened Gutman Herbs,
a business for natural medicine pharmaceuticals, Where I sell my own products.
From infused oils to natural and vegan ointments.
All of the products are made of 100% pure natural and organic ingredients,
with no synthetic additives and no animal testing.
In the last few years,
I’ve worked in a research conducted by a medical cannabis company.
The research
explores the effects this powerful herb has on different medical conditions.
My Approach: Safe and Responsible Herbalism
I see herbal medicine as a complement to professional medical care, not a replacement for it. In my courses and articles I always explain safe preparation, sensible dosages, contraindications and herb–drug interactions, and I encourage you to talk to your doctor before using herbs if you are pregnant, take medication or have a health condition.
Today I’m sharing the knowledge I’ve gained over the years
through my own courses and as an instructor on Udemy.
During this course I’ll be combining my three passions:
Herbalism, Natural Medicine Pharmaceuticals and Aromatherapy.
The techniques I’ll be teaching during this course are simple and suitable for anyone with equipment that we all have in our kitchens.
