Foods

Avoid Spicy, Fatty, and Fried Food

It is advisable to give up fried, fatty, or overly spicy foods, which may increase the feeling of nausea.

Small Meals

Eat small meals during the day.
When we are pregnant, we are constantly hungry and craving the strangest foods.
However, we must remember to maintain a balanced sugar level and stomach that is not too full on the one hand,
but not empty on the other hand, as both options can lead us to nausea.

To avoid heartburn or feelings of nausea, you should try and give up the traditional approach of orderly meals and eat as needed and according to hunger.

Dry Food

Some women find that eating dry things like crackers helps them.
Crackers are not the healthiest food, but at a time when your appetite is so picky, it is not terrible if you use them.
You should complete the meal with more nutritious and satisfying foods such as vegetables, avocados, and tahini.

Such a combination will help you open your appetite on the one hand and maintain a feeling of satiety for a longer period of time, on the other,
due to the combination of fiber, unsaturated fats, and proteins.

Note: It is not recommended to base the entire meal on carbohydrates, such as toast or cookies.

Home Remedies

Rice Water

Wash well and strain half a cup of white rice.
Next, Boil it in a saucepan with two cups of water.
Strain the rice out of the liquid and drink the water.
The rice water silences nausea immediately.

Sweet Potato

Boil a glass of water in a pot, and add to it a glass of pilled sweet potato root.
Lower the flame and cook for half an hour.
Filter, refrigerate and drink the liquid morning and evening.

Heartburn

A Few Tips on How to Avoid Heartburn

  • Slightly raise your head on a pillow when you lie down to rest.
Lying down horizontally contributes to the transition of the stomach contents towards the esophagus, and this can be avoided by raising the chest.
  • Wear comfortable and loose-fitting clothes and avoid clothes that press on the abdomen and chest, including bras.
  • If it is necessary to bend, do it by bending the knees, and not by bending the entire back.
Bending the back creates pressure on the abdomen and stomach, which is not recommended.
Knee flexion is good and also good for the back muscles.
